Air filter housing keeps falling off.

As per title, I have a Volvo TAMD41p and no matter how tight I wind up the juilee clip around the rubber sleeve to grip the intake when I return from a trip it has always come adrft and just resting there unattached. Anybody had the same problem and is there a suggested fix?

Funny that you bring this up as I have been having the very same problem in the Med with my AD41p s
The Volvo engineers took a look at the filter housing and jubilee clip (both 2000vintage)o and rubber seal and recon that the jubilee clips be replaced. They also recommend that the new clips be tightened up with a 7ml socket attached to one of those flexible screwdriver type things and not a flat screwdriver. So duly done and run for 1 1/2hrs at various speeds and hey presto they are still where they should be, so fingers crossed.
