errrrrr.......why not just measure it.....will be a real number for your boat?
I can suggest several methods for a small fee............../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

very usefull boatone, thanks for your help. the boat is not local ie 150 miles away and my archetect needs the height for a new winter store I am building. I think I would have thought of a tape had I been close to the boat.

Oh well, cant win 'em all I 'spose.
Bloody good excuse for a visit to the boat then, and if you cant do that get someone 'down there' (wherever 'down there' is) to measure it for you. If I was building a special winter quarters for my pride and joy Id jolly well want to measure it myself....I certainly wouldnt want to rely on the forum for such a critical issue!!!

And dont be so quick to say I'm stating the obvious.....there's been lots of examples on here of spending a fortune on esoteric before checking simple...../forums/images/icons/smile.gif

you are right you know. I'll just drive up there on wed and use the excuse for a day out. Unlike Sunday I will remember the tape !!.
