I excpect about a zero responce to this one. If not a little bit thought provoking, nothing happens.

Forget about cliques, there are none that I know of. Yes there are loads of mates, that would not be mates if they had not met here first. Some just cibermates!!

You lot out there. Just remember to post something interesting every now and then. Just to keep the old folk happy../forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Ever thought the forum may really be full of bright and active 14 year old (boating) virgins, purportrating to be 62 year old, lonely old sea dogs owning leaky 24 year old 22ft brown and cream Fairlines?

End of the month, no idea about full size boats, give them a ring 01752 266564, suspect you'll be far too big for them, normally 28' max!!

Yep If you can computor control it to wave action, it would make a brilliant helm seat.

good evening. Oldgit and welcome to the forum. Yes A Bayliner is an excelent choice for your planned trip to france. You should get a very good one for the price you have in mind. I would not bother with power boat skipper, you seem to be adiquatly qualified with your extencive knowledge gained on the boating lake.

An excelent choice, you have done your reseach well. It's very easy to get to New York as there is nothing in the way once out of the channel. If you buy a chart plotter on EBay you just have to put the X on New York and the boat will go there no bother. Yes get a nice blue flag, then you can park where you wish. Good luck on your trip to NewYork. I hope it will go well.

My esteemed new friend Old Git. I have found the perfect boat for you within your price range. Here you will find pictures of the boat and the opinions of a number of Surveyors. Good luck.

Thank you for your efforts.Have posted link to Sealine design office. However have now decided that boating is not for me as have been told that cannot put proposed purchase(Sealine 56) on trailer outside house and that the Aston Martin cannot have tow bar fitted. This would be ideal tow car due to looking and handling like truck.
In addition while visiting boat in marina it kept sort of moving up and down.
Asked if any gadget available to stop this happing?
Salesman put his sheepskin coat on,wandered off and never came back.
Now intend taking up train spotting or ffeng shoei..........
