Medway Barge Race 29/May/2004

Held over 3 days this year.
high water at lock appx 5pm ish on Friday.Lock is about 2 hrs from Rochester bridge.

Hi Fred,don't think we can get under Aylesford bridge,but will be going to watch the barge race.

C,mon what airdraft are you.If those Fairline Turbo 36 ,flybrige Princess 38.,manky old Brooms and that new steel stuff that Medway Bridge marina always take up you must be able to fit under.
Around 3.9 metres at HWMN and 3M at HWMS.
We try to go through Aylesford bridge about 1.5 hours or earlier if enough water to float boat.
This gives 5+ metres up above afore expensive crunching noises ruin your day.

I think its close to 18 feet.Could always put wheels on the bottom I spose.

Do you have 240v on the jetty.cos my petrol chainsaw is a bit noisy and the electric one is much quieter/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Re Right the plan is this......

Full throttle thru the bridge will insure that the pesky birds will have to find elsewhere to perch and they will never bother you again.Hope this helps/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
Ps I will be following fairly closely behind as my radar scanner has been playing up a bit lately and it is suprising what you find floating down the river.

Forgot to mention Admirals Cruise.03/08/2004.Actually consists of ancient ceremony of beating the bounds.All day trip join in where ever you like from Rochester to No 1 bouy and then into Queenborough for lunch.
