nae Claysie, nae Jimi, nae Para and yon Twister's a mere shadow o' his former self. Whaur's aw ra humur. Nae Sailbad(scouse git) 'n whaur the hell's yon tcm karaktur. Ah tell ye, there's just nae kultur oan here wi' oot thae Scots(note the proper pronunshiashun) raggie so an' so's. Even Oor Wullie's gone awol. Jing's, it's a sair fecht. Ah widnea even mind if yon JeremyF wis tae pipe in noo 'n again.
At least tha' wid be something. WAKE UP!!!!!!!!

nursing sunburn and aches from waterskiing off the new boat
and driving it badly
trying to bring forward my powerboat course forward as i scared meself a couple of times flying off waves
lots of fun but have to say wind freshended got my laser out and went planing down the waves on that
couple of spectacular broaches trying to show off
later came in still haveb grin on face
am in increasing danger of getting job
am determined to have more time in september off
byee for now
am back off to anglesey on wednesday all hoping.

When are you there? I thought you said not until October?

Almost bought a 23 ft, 4 berth, bilge keeled, rag & stick thingy this time home. It was in lovely condition. Old boy had in Norfolk and was giving it up as he felt that sailing was getting too much for him. SWMBO had to drag me off, saying nooooo. It was a good buy too. it was about 35 yrs old and immaculate condition. 2 new sets of sails included.

I'll be there end of august, but briefly, then on to corsica, tuscany islands, back to Alghero in october. You let a meer woman talk you out of a boat?? What are you a stimulation vessel supervisor, or a mouse!!!

Squeak....................

anyhow a visit could well be on the cards but I don't get home until the 22nd October. Could maybe do a long weekend from the Friday 24th to Monday 27th. How will that fit?

That sounds fine, but of course I'll have to see closer to the time, as to what I'm up to, workwise, but we will arrange something or other! I'm pretty sure I'll beholed up there by then and if not, I'll be in sardinia anyway, so could pick you up at Alghero and go do some cruising, weather permitting of course. Need any cheese?

Bored............

Stuck in Esbjerg harbour for almost 2 weeks now, in stifling heat. Jobs keep getting delayed due to problems offshore. It just makes the time drag something awful. There's only so much paperwork I can catch up on. Still, jumped on the ferry across to Faeno Island and wandered round the terrific beach and watched all the German bints wandering around with their threepenny bits hanging out. Horrible sight. bored!! I've been stuck here for 9 days, the main turbines keep packing up, I've drilled 1000' in 9 days, tell me about bloody bored!! At least you can have a beer! Swine, Ha! bored!!
