just been over the side, scuba gear on, to find a air intake panel that the bad weather here had caused to come off. my stupid fault as a fender was rubbing against it. had a look at the screws whilst down there, and got dint in one of the blades about 10mm by 40mm long along a tip... ****e... not good.... might pull the props off tomorrow... or at least go down in daylight with the camera...
 
i can think of better things to do on a saturday night in jersey... ideal time though as the gate was shut for low tide. its only about ten foot deep, and paddling about in mud and ****...
 
how cool is that. Saves £s on any lifts etc. And I only get mine lifted to clean the props in February, One hour in slings ande circa £200 less in wallet
 
yes, visibility was more than enough. even in black water we still do similar work.

Rob, did you manage to get the prop off? It can be the devils own job out of the water, often requiring heat and/or hydraulic pullers, not an easy job under water.
