I'm taking a boat from Hackney Wick out of the Thames estuary. I'm very familiar with the river but not the journey to it. Are there any air draught issues between the Wick and Limehouse Basin (sailing boat)?

Limehouse cut isn't tidal no and nor is the Lea Navigation. There is a tidal section of the Lea near the big Tesco but you don't use that if going to Limehouse.

The bridges are all too low for a sailing boat with mast up - obviously !

If you are in Hackney Wick have a look at the bridge below the powered locks that should give you a general idea of air draft.

It's a bridge with the sewer pipes built into it. Northern outfall sewer. Actually a very beautiful bit of engineering if you like that sort of thing.

Also quite a low air draft and a reasonable guide for the rest of the Lea Navigation/Limehouse cut down to the exit into the Thames.
