Aft Lower Shroud popping out of deck!

If you managed to tighten it down hard, chances are it's OK. I'd check that there's no possibility of water in the deck... push a coloured tissue through, leave for a few minutes, make sure it comes out clean and dry. Order up a spare fitting, just in case.

In my article on the website I explain that I found the corrosion damage by tightening the bolts, which snapped as a result. I would first give a thorough visual inspection, then put the chainplate in a vice and with a spacer on the bolt tighten up to the appropriate torque for the bolt size and thread. If it takes that there should be no problem.
