Aft cabin flybridge to sports cruiser

Bought last year, Cranchi 40 Mediterranee, on shafts, great ship. It has more canvas than my previous ship; a Beneteau First 38s5 🤪
Sounds like a clever package, have seen some Endurances around Plymouth but not a Mediterrannee?

"Yup, we’re off to see a Windy 40 Bora and a Princess V42 to get a proper idea."
And.... keeping the 448 ?

Recall going to look at a Pearl 45 ? in Hartlepool, very optimistic Covid price being asked .
Looked like a home build, internal wiring was a rats nest disaster area.
Do believe they hung a monkey there once apon a time.

Had a fascinating weekend in Poole and Southampton viewing the Windy 40 Bora, Princess V42 and Sunseeker Camargue 44.
The Windy was a hugely loveable boat but I had little need for the tender garage / sun pad and there was the rather challenging sleeping arrangement with the cabins in the wings and back under the cockpit. The Princess 42 was a beautiful example with a cracking layout and finish..clearly loved by its owner. The Camargue 44 seemed to have the best of both worlds with shafts, Caterpillars and a clever layout. Pricey though.

The Fairline Targa 43

The Garage.
A real faff, just not quite big enough to get any inflatable in without deflating it, which means you have got to pump it up next time you want to use it.
Spontaneous fun?, just allow 20 mins to drag it out, re inflate and get it in the water. :)

The Sun Pad.
Always fun watching the inhabitants clinging on for dear life to stop themselves sliding over the stern into the prop wash when the owner opens the throttles in order to impress his guests as to just how fast the boat will go. :)
On the other hand with a nice Flybridge.....
