After my previous post about how to tidy up the moulded sink in our little Pegasus 700, we have purchased a shiny new stainless sink from Penguin Engineering.
The existing sink is moulded into the 'step' in front of the companionway and has a moulded step that allows a lid to sit flush. The plan is to cut the sink out just below this 'step' so that we can retain the existing lid and then somehow fix the sink up from underneath. The new sink has a rim about 10mm wide around the top. The million dollar question is, how to affix it? Can I use some adhesive sealant like Puraflex or Sika 5200 ?
