Aeroply

Anyone know where to get the thin ply called Aeroply? My son used to use it to make model planes years' ago, and I reckon it may be appropriate as a base for headlining. But Google doesn't offer any suppliers.

Repeat your Google search for "Aero ply" or even Aero-ply. Try also "flexible ply" and "flexible plywood"

I expect you can get it from most decent model shops?

IIRC the ply I used years ago for aeroplanes was 1mm thick, Robbins Timber offer ply 1.5mm thick, quite expensive though. I would have thought that a thicker ply, say 3mm, would be better, and cheaper, for the job.

The recommendation for headlining is 4mm... If you have a very heavily curved bit then you may need bendy ply, but ,make sure you buy it with the right bias
