Hi All,

Well having moved on from trying to get the family on the boat to just accepting it is largely just me and the dog I have decided to try and get on with some jobs. One is I assume I having a missing aerial for an active antenna unit. One photo shows the actual unit and the second shows the base of the aerial at the mast head and I assume the missing stick part. I have tried googling the company and phoning the number but with no luck.

At the moment it only delivers a signal to the fm radio but was thinking of using the SW signal to drive a radio to play with weather fax etc.

The socket part on the mast head base unit must be about 7mm/ 1/4" in diameter.

So does anybody know what the stick bit is like? Are the units any good? Can you buy the stick bit?

Also happy to be enlightened about the correct naming of the parts.

Thanks in advance

Its a Vtronix AAX5 splitter connected to their receive-only active antenna. Now Shakespeare. I don't know if they sell a whip kit for that antenna.

Thanks Salty John,

That was just the little bit of extra help needed. Guess I just need the AA20 antenna.

Thanks again.
