Hi people and a warm hello to all!
We’ve made an offer on a boat located in the South East, subject to survey, having twice viewed the vessel.
As this is our first boat purchase anxiety and excitement may be playing their part and we’re being a little over-expectant, however 12 days have now passed and we have had no feedback on whether the owner is interested or disinterested in our offer. We have chased the broker a few times but no tangible feedback has been forthcoming, the last being that another couple were viewing the boat.
Our dilemma is that there are 3 other boats within our budget that are equally appealing and we are keen to make a purchase.
Should we consider withdrawing the offer with the broker and look at the other vessels?
How long would you wait if you were in our position?
What should be the standard of communication and feedback to expect?
As a selling boat owner, what would you be expecting from your broker?
Any advice or constructive comment would be most welcome!
Many thanks in advance,
Martin
