Advice please on watching Clacton airshow from the boat

The Harbour does what it can but I believe the overall policing is down to Colchester Council, who prosecuted a few in 2014. It seems to me that the best bet is to restrict the launching at Point Clear.

BHC have the jurisdiction to apprehend/prosecute etc. but this was funded by Colchester Council who withdrew the funding as I understand it. It was time-consuming and expensive to obtain a successful prosecution (but well worth it IMHO). Very few jetskis launch from Brightlingsea these days, but from Point Clear it's a free-for-all.
