I used to have a 20 footer with no charging so I took a small battery charger and a mains lead (go to the caravan shop, it's a lot cheaper than the chandlers for the same thing) An 80 amphour battery lasted for about a week but then I had a battery powered hand held vhf and oil lamp and did very little night sailing.
It's always best not to be tied to marinas, specially in a small boat.
