What's the best way to thoroughly clean my boat. I'm doing so after every trip but not sure what the best way to clean in tighter areas like the rudder etc to stop algae, tiny mud snail and zebra mussels getting caught there. Any advice would be welcome

I really am not convinced that anyone can be repetitively naive about cleaning a boat (or anything, for that matter).

You have had plenty of detailed advice in another thread on the same topic.

My advice is stop asking, and just get out and do it.

Employing staff to do the work!

Seriously, unless you are racing at international level it really does not make that much of a difference. There was a chap who had a very sophisticated lift in the marina that I used to keep the boat. He would motor onto his berth and the boat would be lifted out of the water. Goodness knows how much he paid for it. A simple way of dry storage.

I rather like the concept of a boat scrub as you enter and leave a marina. I understand there is a Scandinavian company who manufacture a device.

Which reminds me I better clean round the rudder before I get splashed.

Dear MrFox. I apologize for some of the comments made here on your concern. It does not seem to be clear if your boat is on a trailer or has been lifted out of the water.
If on a trailer and it has been feft in the water for some time you may need to clean the hull. A pressure wash is the common easiest way to clean but may need hand scrub with something like a scouring pad. For the intricate crevasses if you don't have a pressure wash just poke around. As said bleach is a good cleaner disinfectant. All the same goes if boat has been lifted out of the water. You will need to clean it before applying anti foul paint. ol'will
