Advice for new fresh water pump please

Need to replace a failed self priming fresh water pump on a 33' boat, simple galley and heads with cold and hot water from a calorifier. What kind of flowrate and pressure should I be considering?

We have a Shurflo Aquaking that will self-prime at 6ft above the water level in the tank .... so you should measure from the bottom of the tank. The specs are 3 gpm with a pressure switch set at 45 psi, draws 3 amps at 12v.

This unit has proved exceptionally reliable ..... and gives a good shower. I wouldn't go for a smaller pump though.

Our setup is very similar to yours. We had a Shurflo previously, model unknown, it failed after about 15 years, no complaints. It was replaced with a Jabsco Par Max 1.9, not sure whether this is a current model. It is perfectly OK in the galley but the pressure seems not quite enough to cope with the additional distance and small bore to the heads, so a pump size bigger could have been better.
