Advice: boat for singlehanded UK circumnavigation

Colvic Watson motor sailer.
Long keel and lots (inc mine) have bolt on keels as well, takes the ground really well.
Easy to sail single handed.
Many have bow thrusters to make berthing even easier.
Solid as they come, hull based on Scottish trawler, copes really well with heavy weather.

Update: Boat Chosen!

Thank you everybody for all your input. I eventually came to the conclusion that the choice of boat didn't matter very much and was a subject for endless debate with no right answer at the end. Somebody said the best boat to do it in is the boat you own and I think that's probably right. I've bought a Beneteau First 305 - small enough to singlehand, good sailing performance, nice modern-ish accomodation and within budget.

Best of luck.
You can sail round Britain solo easily as long as every step is taken within your own and the boats ability.
Don't take any unnecesary risk. e.g if the weather and tides are not right on the long stretches then wait until things are favourable.
Whilst adventuring in Scotlands waters there is usually a safe bolt hole as long as you understand and look into every weather forcast etc.. but in many other areas you can become vulnerable. If in doubt .... don't!
Cheers
S.
