Boat being lifted next week to carry out usual maintenance along with spruce up, then we have between 6 and 8 weeks on board , hoping to get better weather than last couple of years hence taking extended break so can be more flexible with planning designation s, we normally head west from Isle of Wight then across to the channel isles ,this year hoping to also visit St. Malo, and maybe St Quay-Portrieux ,Appreciate any advice and recommendations , places to visit marines to visit and ones to not, boat is 16+m ,we enjoy going off in our rib and exploring , hence St Malo and the river Rance, we are also hoping to spend more time on buoys and at anchor something that we have little experience of apart from the odd day,
Passage plan (depending on weather)
Weymouth
Torquay
Dartmouth
Salcombe
Alderney
St. Peter port
St Malo
St Helier
Pool
We have visited all except St Malo several times always staying in marines or on buoys so appreciate any advice re sheltered areas to anchor or pick up a buoy .
Thanks to all and any reply,s
