Apollo duck free ads are very limited, but the site usually comes up in the top few hits with a Google search. Boats and outboards not too bad. You get a small one on Boatshop24 for free.
I have mine for sale with a free Boatshop ad, a free boats and outboards ad and a cheap ad on Apollo duck. All link to a website i made to allow plenty of pics and a proper description.

To be really effective you need multiple sites where buyers can find you by searching by length, price, location etc and ads that target your buyer by appearing when they are searching on other sites for a similar but different model or simply reading about sailing.

Gumtree. But I think its only free for a week then you have to pay if you want to.
