Advansea Plotter question.

I have an Advansea T56 plotter, which will be installed on the boat next week. On test I have found that waypoints cannot be turned off or hidden. They always appear on screen and can cause excessive clutter. The only option appears to be to delete routes in order to get rid of them. Has anyone found a way to alternate between displaying or hiding waypoints? Routes can be hidden, but all the associated waypoints remain on screen.

My firmware version is 1.0.0. Does the firmware update solve the problem, if I can get a copy?
