No, I am definitely talking about the folios. HMRC are public on the fact that the charts that make up the folios are not available individually any more

The Leisure Charts never made up or constituted part of Leisure Chart Folio series, they were always different animals.

If HMRC are so public on this, where is the hyperlink? That is why I earlier asked Nigel for the source. If it so public then it must be easily demonstrable. Doug's link above suggests the opposite.

Doug's is correct IMHO; the "Leisure Chart" series bear no relation to the "Leisure Chart Folio" series. The former were cheap and printed on flimsy paper that folded down to about A4 . I have three of these; with some use the thin paper would start to crack along the folds.

The latter, the "Leisure Chart Folio" series are completely different with about ten or so A2 sheets printed each side on stiff high quality paper. Different animal altogether.

and they told me they are never going to release a folio for the N of Scotland inc Shetlan Isles etc.

That may well be the case, but does not mean that the rest of the Leisure Chart Folio series will be scrapped. As mentioned earlier, they published a new First Edition only this year (Ardnamurchan to the Shiants).

We have been at cross-purposes in this thread, imho.
