Admiralty Chart forgeries

There is a recently issued news item on the UK Hydrographic Office website warning of the existence of forged Hydrographic Office publications.

Not yet and I think Admiralty are kidding themselves if they think that (all) the fakes are that obvious. It's like the warnings about low quality pirated DVDs - true enough twenty years ago but with modern cheap technology the crooks can make fakes that are almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

Apart from on the pirate copies you're not forced to watch videos accusing you of being a pirate for 10 minutes before the movie starts!
