Admiral of the River Cruise.

Long old day , not sure of boat numbers, down on previous years, perhaps 50- 60 boats.
Nice to see boats from other clubs.
Pathetic that Queenborough Harbour could not find room for us to moor on the ATL for couple of hours.
Especially with their own mayor on the cruise.

Enjoyed the cruise, our last one was 1999. Last to leave, due to trimmer coming to template new canopy, so was playing catch up most of the way, catching Chris up just before Folly. Admit to turning early as I was concerned about engine temp. Think I'm becoming paranoid! and pushed her back to Gillingham reach, and eased to let the 'entourage' pass. Then fell back into line. Couple of pics of you and Murv passing, but left camera on boat, will post when I get chance, but off up the East coast Wednesday for 10 days.

Came around with wife about 7 ish to partake in the festivities but found the doors firmly shut. Were we too early?

All things considered t'was a 'Grand day out'...….

Really sorry I didn't notice you, it was like herding cats trying to keep rearmost of the RCC fleet whilst trying to get everybody to keep a tight-ish formation. We managed to close the gap to around a mile by the time we passed Garrison...
You were only a few minutes early in the evening, we were supposed to be assembled at 19:15, the actual ceremony didn't start until around 19:45 but the doors were kept locked until the ceremony had finished. Too much risk of a stampede with hot, thirsty club members outside and cool alcoholic beverages on the inside!!
