Adjustable steering column upgrade

Good evening all,
I have a 1996 Rinker Fiesta Vee265 which has a fixed postion steering wheel without adjustment. I would like to upgrade the column so the wheel can be adjusted. Can anyone one advise me if there is a kit out there i can buy, a universal joint that i can use or should not bother,

Steering cable and type or hydraulic?

I'm presuming cable rotary type, if so : SeaStar Sport Tilt Steering Mechanism SH91800P is what I have on my boat.

having started my boating life with a steering wheel that was behind me I'm of the generation where so long as its in front of you, and its not a tiller i'm happy... but then I don't have an adjustable steering column in my car either... (well... OK, one of them anyway)... I would get used to where it is..
