We have a problem with the non slip on the coach roof.. It is starting to peel off at the corners and looks really ugly... I want to strip it off and replace with new stuff...

I don't want to use treadmaster as it is not very pretty and also is very hard on bare feet..
The present stuff is the pyramid pattern with four sides.. I can get some from the noat builders in France.. but transport will be very expensive.. then some more!

Does anyone know of a supplier for non slip sheet in the UK?

OK... my appoloogy but I forgot to mention that I would like to match the effect of the rest of the boat...

I have seen Dek-King but it would look out of place alongside the other seck which is ok...

Sorry,,

Not done it myself, but the stories in other threads about grinding pads off with am angle grinder are believable if they were put down with epoxy! Whatever you use to get them off, grinder or maybe a reciprocating tool with flat blade, you are likely to have to do some making good of the surface before replacing the non-slip. You won't be actually matching if you change from the diamond texture to something else, although the colour match may be nore than acceptable. It wouldn't be that difficult to get an equivalent match with deck paint, though. I mixed some boot topping to match a gunwhale stripe, the only drawback being that I now have a lot of dark blue and one small can of the mixed light blue!

Rob.

One of the bosch multitools with the paint stripper attachment would work a treat for getting that stuff off, i'd bet.
