adhesive lenses for sunglasses

My wife is reading "The perfect first mate" by Joy Smith. In it she describes some adhesive lenses that can be stuck onto sun glasses to make them bi-focal. She describes them as plastic magnifyingspots that are available in different magnifications. Does anybody know where you can get these spots from?

Try a good Diving supply shop as many divers have them fitted to masks.......but why not just get prescription sunglasses???

Try any fly fishing company e.g. Sportfish... they're sold to aid fly tying. You could also try Orvis
