Hi all,
Next possible project is looking at adding a gyro to our Raymarine S3 course computer to enhance the course keeping abilities (which will be a whole lot cheaper than buying a new system).
So, will adding a gyro make a noticeable difference?
I know you can buy aftermarket add on gyros for about 200 GBP from ebay, but how hard would it be to make one up myself (I have read that finding the right gyro is now difficult as new ones are all digital and the one for the S3 has to be analogue)?
Cheers
