My footpump, which came with the dinghy, has a dual diameter end piece on its hose that fits both the main valves and the airdeck valve on my 2008 Avon Rover.

To inflate the airdeck using my electrical pump requires the use of 3 of the commonly supplied adapters of various sizes in series (Not helpful, given the high pressure).

Despite searching many of the usual places and emailing a main UK agent and the Italian manufacturer (both with no response) , I cannot find the source of a second adapter to permanently fit to the end of the electric pump hose.

Has anyone previously found such a thing previously?

I could make one by copying the original but I thought I'd check first if anyone knows of the 'easy route'.

[This is the adapter that you push into the valves at the output end of the pump hose].

Bob,

I have exactly the same dinghy as yours. I do not have different pump fittings for the tubes / air floor / air keel. One adaptor does all. Are you sure you need different fittings?

As it happens I’ve recently removed the air floor in favour of a closed cell foam alternative....but that’s another story.

I have the same dinghy and have lost the airdeck adaptor so currently just hold the hose over the valve. The airdeck is a small volume and doesn't need high pressure. I think the footpump pumps it from flat in under a minute!
I did modify a spare nozzle that was too big by filing/grinder/dremel it down to size.
I think if you need an electric pump to blow up your airdeck then perhaps you need the exercise!

Sorry, I may not have been clear. I have one fitting for the footpump that does 2x tubes, keel and floor. It has two diameters along its length to match the different orifices of the dinghy. I am seeking an identical piece to fit to my electric pump hose.

I need 3 of the set in pvb's post to allow the electric pump to inflate the airdeck.

Andrew,
I hope you are not suggesting I should betray 50 years of studied laziness - that would be against my religion!

Andrew and Vyv,

The key search word I had not been using was 'stepped'. Using that, several sources reveal themselves - it seems that Pacer also supply the part (at the reassuringly high price of £16.95 incl postage).

Thanks again
Bob
