Acryllic, perspex or plexiglass?

The boat is a triana which shares the same screen as Fairey Christana's I could not hope to find the piece of glass on the shelf nor find anybody breaking a boat hence after a bit of a search and finding no convenient UK manufacturers of custom glass and being on a budget as most of us are, I did not try for a one off curved glass screen!

Ah. The situation would probably have been the same with a ten-year-old boat, though. It's not the age of the boat that affects the price, it's just the fact that anything unique to a particular boat nearly always needs to be custom made. Possible exception for recent models from really big production-line builders like Bavaria, but otherwise, these aren't cars and there aren't spares kept in stock nor a used parts market as such. There just aren't the numbers out there to support it.
