Planning a trip to the New Inn tomorrow, but lunch time is bang on low tide. It's 1.2m, which isn't too bad, does anyone know if we can still get to the quay? The tender is a small flat bottomed jobby, so we don't need much water to get in.

Thanks, and I know it does dry on Springs, but it's more neaps tomorrow with 1.2m at low water, so that's half a metre more than was being discussed in the other thread. I was wondering if anyone knew exactly what depth over LAT was needed. We can time it to land and depart an hour either side of LW, so that will add a bit more depth.

I've watched people staggering around in the mud there with waders. It's quite fun to watch, but not really a viable launch location at low tides of any description. I have no figures to back this up!

:o I remember, with embarrasment, returning from a very pleasant dinner at the nearby pub and looking forward to a nightcap and bed only to find the water was a long way from where it had been when we landed. :o
