Still smiling ;) Couple of photos from last week, taken from a friend's boat alongside...

Glad you're enjoying it. Looks great. Where were the pics taken? I was in blearix last week but don't know it well enough to spot the locations from those pictures.

Pedantic people will tell you off for wearing a blue ensign outside UK waters :-)

SW Mallorca. The last one is at anchor in Portals Vells (a cute little cove with a couple of nice restaurants, nice anchorage)

Excellent, lovely shots, still my favourite of the range by far just such a shame they have finished the series production now, I keep nagging them to start building again as with O/D's and no hard top she was/is very compeditively priced. Still lots of equiries for second hand ones. Probably one of the very few SC's in this market that is still getting top dollar second hand. Hang onto it for dear life, you have brilliant and very sexy machine ! :-)

Excuse my ignorance, but why? If TOP has a warrant to wear it, why shouldn't he?

Not a challenge, just a question. broadsmiley

I'm not into detailed flag etiquette nor blue ensigns so I'll happily stand corrected by anyone who knows better, but I think the warrants you refer to apply only in UK waters, and that the only correct ensign for a UK flagged boat (ignoring white ensign navy ships) in foreign waters is the red duster, even if the boat is owned/driven by a warrant holder

I can't quote you any authority on this though, and may be wrong :-)

Ah, right, thanks. I know exactly where you mean. I went past it last week on leaving RCNP and going on a longish trip round to Deja and Soller. I didn't stop in Porto Vells, there was a bit of a swell going into it, but saw it close up and know where you mean :-)
