Absolute 64 - another PYB exclusive

unless you are talking about previously when they couldn't produce bigger mouldings themselves and yes there were some issues but no more than anyone else has or had, indeed vast majority of yards sub contract all sorts of components from mouldings, looms, joinery etc, heck half of all yards now have a proportion of components sub manufacturered doesn't mean they are any less quality.

Nah, I was neither talking about "previous" (whatever that means) situation, nor just bigger mouldings.
Let me put it this way, if I were to place an order for a new boat I'd ask to put in the contract that I'm allowed to visit the factory and see the construction in various stages.

Fairenuff, I'll have a couple of these 64 in this case.
I guess that when you get used to have one in the Med, it's hard to live without one while wintering in the caribbean!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Contract on its way :-) actually now that you mention it that's a very good idea, now if I were a hard nose salesman I would direct you our Fractional scheme website where you can discover for the same outlay as just one 64 you could have two 64's, one in the med and one in the caribbean and 50% use of each, spend half the year in the med and half in the Caribbean. Smashing idea and you only have the running costs of one as well /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yup, neat idea I must say. How's that I seem to recall it, now that you mention? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm afraid you won't win the 'hard nose salesman of the year' context, though.
You have a honest buyer with more money than sense, wishing to buy 2 boats on the spot, and instead of biting his throat you offer him a way to spend less and get the same result? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I know, I know , I am far too soft for my own good, but I look on the bright side now that I saved you that much money you have some spare spondulies to have a 1/3 share in a new Outer Reef 65 based in Florida , you know just for the odd week here and there when bored in the Carribean /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

have a shufty Buy a yacht for 50% less

Knew had these somewhere, from a recent open day for customers at the yard.....

Ok, ok, 100% Italian thoroughbreds.
Eating my humble pie right now, though 'twas a honest misunderstanding, as per pm explanations.

But what's the boat in the 2nd pic?
I can't recall of ANY streamline production planing boat with direct access from the cabins to the e/r via watertight door, though it makes a lot of sense imho. That must be a world first, or am I missing something again!?! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Oh poo ! I don't think I was supposed to post that pic, bit confidential /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif , now I can't remove it . ooops ! , new model, new layot, new, well just about everything, more news in a few months. Hopefully in time for Genoa.

No worries M, me, I can hardly tell whether I coming or going half the time :-)

The Pearl 55/60 does, although may not class as "streamlined"

Ah, but! She's an aft cabin layout, as I recall.
I was thinking of more typical boats with center master cabin.
Point taken, though.
