Ok, we used the boat for the huge amount of 20hrs in 2013 due to other "tasks" that took priority.
About to return to the water and we're told that the compressor has failed - replacement from Volvo = £1700.
Does any one know of, or can recommend, a supplier of reconditioned compressors for KAD 44s ?

Hmmm, ouch!
Sounds horrible but it might just be seized through lack of use. Worth a second opinion. Ask a decent Volvo man can advise like Col or VolPaul or Tom. With a little bit of loving care and a lube it may be possible to free off your existing one. So don't panic yet Mr. Mainwaring. :nonchalance:
