I have just installed a stand alone A65 WiFi and want to connect it to my AIS which is a digital yacht AIT2000
I have other Raymarine kit on board but want to keep this part separate.
The A65 has SeatalkNG but does not appear to have NMEA 0183
The AIS has N2Net which seems to be NMEA 2000 variant and NMEA 0183
So the question is what cable do I need to connect the two together and only the two?
Thanks
Clive

Seatalk NG is NMEA2000. You need a simple NMEA2000 backbone cable, 3 T's 2 terminating resistors and a power feed. Very basic n2k network and easy to add extra to in the future. You might need an adaptor to get the seatalk lead to marry up with the T on the backbone.
