Inspired by today's weather.
Apologies to the author of a simiIar poem about rain.I don't know who he or she is, but this my equivalent about wind.
It blowed and blowed and blowed and blowed
Of blowing less it never showed
And when all the boats had furled their sails
Michael Fish said 'Yet more gales.'
After a breeze of half an hour,
It started blowing with awsome power.
Then most curious thing of all,
Lots of trees began to fall.
Next day was also fairly calm,
Apart from a quick morning maelstrarm,
Which rattled round with quite a din,
And after that the wind set in.
Angus.
