First bay on the right in inner Loch Eynort, S Uist. One of many anchorages in that slightly challenging loch.

I've had another look, and agree with others, that it's Soay.

That harbour has got a lot to answer for! I learnt to sail in it. With that backdrop it can only be Soay

Yea, Soay. First visited in 1977 when doing my Yachtmaster Offshore with Loch Eil Outward Bound. I 'know' that somewhere I have B&W photos of Maxwell's shark fishery factory which was reasonably complete then, but I've spent the morning going through hundreds of negatives and I'd be ******* but I can't find them.

That photo was 2003.
