For the benefit of those who do want to know what's going on, but to avoid any moans about advertising, here's an extract from FB ;)

The man from Duvel say yes, draft Duvel coming to a pub near you. In addition to Vedett extra white, Vedette extra blond, Mc Chouffe and Liefmans. Along with a selection of up to six real ales, and Warsteiner, to name a few. Now draft Birra Moretti on top of that lot, that's what I'm talking about. My new place and right on your doorstep too,

So I'm still in East Anglia, I have Duvel and Birra Moretti going on draft in the next few weeks and I'm not in Norwich, which is the nearest place that does have Duvel on draft ;)

Final clues, Flipper and CliveG are within cycling distance, Suse and Sailorman are but a short drive away, and PhoenixOfHamble was only a few minutes away from me yesterday but didn't know it :D

There is a sailing club five minutes drive away, and if I have the energy I can walk to the river for a fix

Final clue, there is a B&B next door ;)

The winner will be the first to walk through my front door and claim his or hers YBW ECF drink of Duvel :cool:

Hang about, I'm the landlord, I'm not supposed to give drinks away :eek:
So whoever finds me has the job of telling everyone else where I am :D

Those who already know are excluded for obvious reasons, but only a very few know, mainly because I needed to tell them :cool:

The plot is afoot, Sherlock, one draft Duvel on offer to the first to find me :)

Now I'm totally knackered so would someone mind posting this to the lounge too ? :o wouldn't want any of the resident cluedoe experts missing out :D

Oh yes, there is a time limit, the bar launch night will be quite a big event with lots of samples of the new beers being given away, and publicity paid for by the supplier, so you need to find me before then to qualify :rolleyes:
 
damn, I love a mysterious challenge, but I am exempt!! wish you hadn't told me now! :D

I won't take the responsibility for putting in the lounge because (a) everything I put in the there dies a death and (b) almost everyone in the lounge drives me mad.

My cellar refurbishment, which I insisted on in order to maintain the quality standards required, is due to take place some time next week :eek:
Duvel and Birra Moretti will be on draft the following week, providing all goes to plan :o
Faster than expected so time's short here :eek:
 
I'd love to visit, but unfortunately I'm on the wagon at the moment. Best wishes for success!

PS Do they serve Ferrero Rocher chocs at the B&B??

All best wishes Sixpence. I am told we do not quallify due to SWMBO's inside knowledge. Anyway it would take us about 24 hrs, non stop. to get to you and the free booze will have gone by then. Hell, next time we are back 'home' we will come and see you and even pay for the privilege.

Chrusty 1 seems to have gone missing. Any news?

Not a great show for the educationalists - apologies.
Got it now so with the appropriate transport in place I shall try and not spare any to make a visit. Probably too early tomorrow as it will be around 10.30 ish.

The generosity of the ECF triumphs once again, a free Duvel on offer and everyone's hinting at where it is before they've claimed it :eek::D
Sorry we couldn't say anything sooner, especially to Clive and Patrick, as we're now neighbours :o
