Hi

I have a week planned in Ibiza next week and have spent some time anchoring around the island and dinghying ashore but have not been land based before.

Do those who have spent time there have any must see places, things to do and restaurants to visit?

Thanks for any info. Feel free to pm me.

Join one of the poplar Tour buses visiting DoM Palace perhaps!;)

Some really nice restaurants in Dalt Vila (old town) and it is a beautiful area to walk through being a world heritage site. Other restaurants I recommend are Bambudda Grove, KM5, there's a nice fish shack in Talamanca (if I recall, may be figueretas) beach. There are so many nice places to eat and drink on the island. I recommend hiring a car and visiting the north of the island it's much more unspoilt than the rest of the island and you can find some secluded coves and beaches.

If you want to do the touristy thing and visit the sunset strip it will be a lot quieter now but you may still get a bit of the atmosphere down there at sunset. A restaurant I recommend there is called Mint Lounge.
For more of the celeb thing and upmarket beach restaurants, head to Las Salinas. And finally if you have the time you must visit Formetera it is absolutely beautiful. Hope that helps.

Many thanks Matt. All sounds great I have a car sorted. Have been to Formentera. But you have given me some new places, many thanks.
