Ohm's Law was published in 1827, so I'd expect everyone would be familiar with it by now.When I were at school, v=iiiii, and P hadn't been invented so we had to use d! ;-)

We did valves in Physics at school, around 1969, then transistors.Wow that makes you quite old as the valve was invented back in 1910
