This afternoon we collected keys to our new boat. It is cold and raining but it does'nt matter to us. We will be down at the weekend, heating on, watching the ducks and debris float by. Thoughts turn to Spring with a few months and winterisation between now and then - much planning, scheming and paying to go......... Yes a very happy and long awaited day!

Nick & Joanne

Now my boat is here it is cold, wet and wintery - but I don't care!!!

My boat may be here in time for winter

Congrats on the new boat. Is it the Corniche? What layout\engines etc. We need lots more details.

Cor, TWO people buying new boats in one day. What is the world coming to. I didn't know spreadsheets were that widely used.

We now go public.....
Fairline Corniche, 1989 with TAMD40s on shafts with lots of buttons to press inc Mastavolt, radar and sshhh, a bow thruster. Dinette layout (we looked at and quite liked bunks version), with double fwd cabin. Lovely condition having been redone inside two years ago. Lots of plans and excitement but have to get through winter first.

Moved up from a tunnel drive Birchwood 25 which will always remain dear to us. Learnt a lot but keen to move on. Joanne now a dayskipper (Bisham Abbey - excellent) and Nick in for Feb.

From two happy but now very poor forumites

It's the Cornish thingy Colin. With two 200hp vol**'s And they want to know what to do with a flag if they get one. I've tried my best to explain but you could do it much better than me.
Your polo shirt is still in the fridge by the way!!

I understand that the Flagmeister Haydn is available for ceremonial duties and we still don't understand this flag business.

Now to get totally confusing:---

1) Dickmeister is obviously not Flagmeister - me just cutting and pasting cos he's been a rude person to pprove him inferior even to an idiot like learner

2) Haydn is one kind of Flagmeister cos his only source of income is dodgy burgees so please contribute , keeps donkey in bray ( I mean hay)

3) Byron REAL flagmeister cos he knows everything on this subject , but allegedly too shy to mention ..?????? .. Seriously I am informed he be DBs ..

Any Help??
