Re: shergar

Am I invisible or what????

can read this two ways
1) Won-One was a racehorse, Tu-Tu was one too. Won-One
won one race, Tu-Tu won one too

or

2) Won-One was a racehorse, Tu-Tu was one too. Won-One
won one race, Tu-Tu won twelve

so in option one, they both won a race each
and in option two, Tu-Tu wins by eleven races

Re: ah but!

3) one-won won one, raced one (on odds of) 22:112.

Or

4) Perhaps there is a third racehorse, called "who" and he is the horse that won, regardless of the odds or previous form of the other horses called eleven or tu-tu.

BUT
Note that there is no questionmark at the end. So, it it not a valid input and computer nerds of the world can unite: "Fatal Error 99" or is the correct response.

One One won one raced once
Two Two won one too

So both won and as One One only raced once it must have been different races or the same race and a dead heat.

Learnt at my mother's knee (slight variation).

Try this (if you can remember schoolgirl/boy Latin):

Caesar adsum iam forte
Hannibal ad sum ad huc

Translate.

And:

If the B mt
Put more:
If the B. putting:

Been looking at this again, and have come to the conclusion that TCM is correct,
" WHO " was the winner as originally stated.

we\'re byting!

Indeedy. The lack of a questionmark shows that this is not a question but a statement, perhaps.

PaulineB is clearly a woman asking a question in the female statement form eg "i'm not going to ask you again who won the horserace"

OR possibly she/it is an alien who is transmitting her intentions to attack earth in base 34 or higher with all the digits after the denary "9" in lower case. I think i will engage outer shields, and have just one more final glass of white wine.

Re: we\'re byting!

No sorry your all wrong. tcm was the closest with the woman slant. Paulineb is a woman, therefore speaks a different language, makes no sence what so ever and just jibbers for a week or so every month. You've just experienced a jibbering. No more, no less.
