I have a honwave with an inflatable V floor. The problem is that currently one side is also deflatable under its own volition.
I discovered that I can hear air escaping from a seam at the very back where the protective strip is fitted. I’ve got know idea how to mend it.
any ideas or can you recommend somewhere near Southampton to take it for repair please?

I once heard a hiss coming from under my boat while it was on my drive way. I got under the trailer and found a spitting cobra wrapped around the inside of the wheel.
But in my experience, if the leak is coming from the seam, then you need professional help

Got to source the leak first. A strong-ish solution Fairy liquid sprayed around will show it up. I once managed to for a patch through the valve hole (I unscrewed the valve first of course) but in truth the boat was on its last legs by then anyway

I have dink with an inflatable floor which also had a small leak in a seam.

I pulled back the seam a little bit, sanded the surfaces and scratched out the corners with a kitchen knife then followed the instructions meticulously for apply the glue (two coats if I remember right) letting it dry so it was just past tacky and then clamping into place with a couple of wood blocks. I then left it two days outside in the sun without touching it.

It has been perfect now for over 8 years.

I had a leak from a seam and tried without success peeling it back and repairing so bought some sealant you can pour in through the valves, then roll the dinghy round to coat the inside, worked a treat! now holds it`s pressure and no hiss. Available from force 4 chandlery for about £20?
