A sticky question of toilet paper for liveaboards

Whenever we have chartered a boat, we have always used plastic bags to store used toilet paper. We would prop up a plastic bag in each head & throw it away in a suitable receptacle every few days. Although we can put up with unsightly bags on our own boat, the biggest minus of this process is the very high usage of plastic bags long term.

Planning for our liveaboard boat, I wonder what others would suggest on how to temporarily store toilet paper?

Change your diet if it gets that sticky.

Dont use toilet paper at all . Go to supermarket and get dishwasher brush with disposable pads . each pad can last a long time if you wash in the pan after flushing or shoogling in sea water in a bucket

Get one with a nice curve on the handle and with foam pads - easy to us when sitting on the loo too . Don't use washing up liquid . It nips

Strange customs in foreign parts. What do you people do at home?

We flush ours down the loo.
Depends what you think of as foreign ;)
In probably a large proportion of the world people have a wee wash, and think of using paper as a bit, well, ugh!

If you want to clean your hands you don't rub them on a bit of loo roll, do you? :)

It's not the method that repulses me, it's the storage of the paper, if the paper method is chosen.
