A faulty nav light, a commercial boat without proper lookout, an inexperienced pleasure boat skipper.
Tragic results.

The results of the investigation following the 1999 collision of a 40' Bayliner and tug pulling a barge. Here is the official accident report. 5 people on the Bayliner perished in the mishap.

How do you come to that conclusion Stewart? I thought the accident was down to nav lights, poor lookout and knoweldge / experience (or lack of it) of the local waters rather than specific boat types.
