There is a 3 masted ship moored to Ha'penny pier ...... What is it?

I feel I should know, but I can't place it. Is it an American old timer?

Designed and built (out of steel) by a husband and wife team, in a field in Wivenhoe. Shipped to St Osyth boatyard in 2 pieces and assembled there. Quite a feat is an understatement.

this vessel once scared be by looming out of very thick fog on a reciprocal course in the Wallet. I was slightly surprised that the lookout by the bowsprit was holding a mug not a cutlass!
