Later this week, we shall be making a great effort to sail to Rathlin to enjoy the craic and the music in McCuaig's bar. However the recently helpful northerlies have now backed west/southwest and have dropped to almost nothing. So it looks likely that we may have to motor much of the way, or, indeed, chuck it and stay in the Clyde if motoring becomes too boring.
This creates a slight problem, as my failure to reach Ireland will be dutifully recorded in HH MacHurley's yotblog . This doesn't bother me too much, but I am concerned that HH's many readers worlwide may begin to believe that he's jinxed.
Is there anything I can do about this?
Also, in view of his predeliction to go walkabout, should I insist that he wears a lifejacket/harness at all times?
