Seen it.
I did not see Sirenia in that condition I am glad to say.
She had been pulled up on to the mud bank by the time I got there.

Any way as FullCircle reminds me every now and then I now have a fully refitted boat the is much better for it.
I am still most grateful for the help that 18 forumites gave me on the Saturday following this little mishap.

A great recovery Clive.
Wonderful example of what can be done and nice to note that almost all of thise are still on the forum now.

If that is a forumite, lets do the same thing for him/her.

And my hat's off to you - I'm not sure I would have done the same.
Or maybe ...

Sadly it is not the first time a yacht has sunk on those moorings. I can recall a similar sight some years ago.

The Owner(s) are aware and are planning a rescue strategy that doesn't involve a salvage vessel and it's associated costs. However it's been there for about two months and I should imagine fairly well bedded in :(

Still there it seems...:(

And it was 'still there' about a week before Sailorman's first post. (I also took a photo but hadn't got round to downloading it from the phone.)

I guess someone with a Silhouette or similar, moored there, probably doesn't have a lot of money to spare. Even if they know of the sinking, if they are uninsured, or third party only, they quite likely can't afford to get it recovered, or will avoid doing so until chased by the authorities.

It is sad.

When I had a nosey at it yesterday, just as I arrived a rib with "dive crew" left it then headed into Levington. So perhaps it may be on the move in the future?!

Its a Pandora; been there for some time.... :(

Poor looking thing. Real shame about the mast.

Hull and cabin etc looks sound though.. One almighty clean-up required by the looks of things. At least she's back up where she belongs (above the surface)
