Does anyone out there have a wooden boat built by Arthur Romney Green?

I had a cup of tea with Sandy Scott of Lions Boat House on Eel Pie Island this afternoon and discovered that he trained under this famous woodworker learning both furniture-making and boatbuilding.

He also has 3 small wooden boats in the shed that may be for sale before he sells the Boathouse if anyone is interested.

The little petrol launch in the shed. The one infront of the one I was looking at. Would make a lovely little river launch. What would he want for it do you think.

Oi! Hands off I was there first. Lovely little boat. Pity that the same love and care isn't put into the boats produced nowdays. If you look at the thing closely, you can see its all hand built. Lovely work too.

Well! Thats nice innit' I don't want the river launch, just the dinghy! No probs, I already have a hand built clinker dinghy, by McNulty, for my boat, I wanted the other one as a dinghy for a very special 1908 boat of my brothers. We'll see.

Now that you've got that sorted, here is the boat that I must have been talking to you about but at the moment Sandy doesn't want to sell it. If it looks as if it is appropriate for your bruv, I'll talk to him further.
