...directed at all that abuse of forum users on ybw.com forums is not tolerated. If you have differences of opinion they can be debated without recourse to starboard broadsides.

Anyone unable to stick with that simple rule gets ammo removed and ship decommissioned.

Thank you Kim as I for one find some of the recent aggressive outbursts inappropriate on this generally good natured forum.

Kim

I am with you !

Have been motorboating for years, started on a 25 footer from Plymouth and no experince what so ever but I have always found lots of help and good advise from fellow boaters (Even the one with a large cloth on deck ?)

So why dont we keep this attiude here ? lets be polite to each other and listen to all of other peoples views, Even if somtime we do not agree with them or they are louder then us !

Still Best boating web site for me !

Just a further suggestion or two. All comments to be addressed to 'editor' and never direct to other correspondents: in other words tend to third person. Stick to boating subjects, at least loosely related: no salesman jokes, no political opinions (except yachting politics!).

Funnily enough, you always seem to have a suggestion or two! You could always apply for the job as moderator, then you could do what you want. I also believe Iraq needs new leadership.

Re: Running out of pennies...

Now there we have a prime example of (a) addressing another correspondent in the second person and (b) originating a (far from) non-boating subject.
However Deckmaster has a sense of humour and applauds the wit.

Point of Order!! (via The Chair, of course). Whilst I am delighted to learn that Deckmaster has a sense of humour, I must deplore the use of double-negatives. Surely, 'a (far from) non-boaty subject' is one that is bang on target for this forum /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
